Grentzblatt

It is amazing that Jesus' life should be regarded from one side only, as if he lived only to deliver mankind from sin, he who went about healing all manner of sickness and commanding his followers to do the same. Christian Scientists, who follow Jesus' command, cannot be called unchristian, especially when it is realized that they consider healing only as the result of following Christ. Mrs. Eddy writes in her book "Rudimental Divine Science" (p. 2): "Healing physical sickness is the smallest part of Christian Science. It is only the bugle-call to thought and action, in the higher range of infinite goodness. The emphatic purpose of Christian Science is the healing of sin."
