One night I awoke with such intense pain that I could not think for myself. Help was asked from a Christian Science practitioner, and in about fifteen minutes I was able to go to sleep. This is only one small demonstration of the many that I have had during the eighteen years I have known this truth. Christian Science was invaluable to me during my school days, especially in my last year at high school. History seemed to be very difficult for me, but with Christian Science to help me I was able to make better grades and also to enjoy the subject.

I am grateful for the healing of sites. I was troubled with them from the time I first went to school until I was in my second year of high school. I did not realize that the healing had taken place until nearly four years later, when, while searching my thought for something I had to be grateful for, I remembered that I had not been bothered with sties for that length of time. That was cause for gratitude. Whooping cough yielded within two hours to the application of the truth, and measles and scarlet fever were overcome in several days. I have been healed of bronchial pneumonia, and have also been able to lay aside arch supports.

Certain school-teachers, difficult to get on with by other students, have, as instructors, invariably proved to be very dear friends to me. This demonstration was made three times in high school. Mrs. Eddy tells us on page 17 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that "Love is reflected in love."
