Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Sweden.

In the different activities of the branches of The Mother Church located in Sweden increased interest in and inquiries about Christian Science and for its literature have been noticed. The attendance at services and lectures has grown, and in several localities small groups of Christian Scientists have gathered to read the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly and more regularly to hold informal meetings.

The lectures have been fairly well reported in the press. One of these was given quite long reports — five hundred words and more — in nine newspapers in different localities of Sweden. The Scandinavian edition of The Herald of Christian Science is certainly doing a good work for the healing of mankind, for the regeneration of the thoughts of the many who do not as yet understand enough English to be able to read and study the authorized literature in its original language.
