With sincere gratitude I wish to tell of the many beautiful healings which have blessed me since taking up the study of Christian Science as taught in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

My first healing, of an organic condition from which I had suffered for many years, was instantaneous. I was told by several well-known surgeons that nothing but an operation would cure me, and had made preparations for it. Just a few days before I was to enter the hospital Christian Science was presented to me by a dear woman, and the few statements she made about its healing power made me eager to know more about it. She lent me a copy of Science and Health, and before I had finished reading the chapter on Prayer I found myself completely healed. That was seventeen years ago, and I have never had the slightest return of the difficulty. Since that time Christian Science has been my only physician.

I have had many wonderful healings; but one that I am especially happy over is the destruction of a selfish, unloving disposition. I am learning each day how to express more love toward my fellow men, and to put into practice what we learn through the study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings.
