In our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we find on page 207 these words: "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause." These words have brought great comfort to me, and, as in Moses' time, they are as a pillar of cloud by day and of fire by night.

I was reared in Christian Science, and attended the Sunday school from the baby class up; and through all the years of Christian Science teaching I have been wonderfully guarded and guided. The protection that has been mine during the past thirty-two years I feel is wonderful, in that I have not been in need of any great physical healing. The protection of our Father-Mother is always near.

It has been my privilege to take the steps our Leader has so lovingly provided—membership in a branch church and The Mother Church, and class instruction. I am very grateful for Christian Science. Mere words could never express my joy at knowing some of this marvelous truth as taught by Mrs. Eddy.
