Over twenty-five years ago Christian Science was brought to the attention of my mother, who began to study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and with the help of practitioners was healed of many discordant conditions. I had always been a very healthy child, and although I frequently read Science and Health and the literature, I failed to practice what I read.

Years later, after I was married and had a family, one of our daughters became very ill and passed on. Then we were willing to turn completely to God; and with deep gratitude I can say that He did wipe all tears from our eyes, and did gently lead us through the deep waters of sorrow to that glorious peace that comes with the understanding that Life is eternal. Since this experience we have relied entirely upon God, and have found that He never fails. Whooping cough was quickly met, and colds, fevers, sore throat vanished into nothingness on the application of Truth. Contagion was met in less than twenty-four hours. One of our daughters had some very large warts on her hand. Two days after Christian Science treatment was started, they had entirely disappeared.

For this beautiful truth that is meeting our every need and teaching us the completeness and perfection of all that God made, I am truly grateful; also, to the loving practitioner who helped us through these trials.
