I am very grateful to Christian Science and its teachings
I am very grateful to Christian Science and its teachings. Previous to coming into Science, I was a trained nurse. During the ten years I have been studying it I have seen and experienced many proofs of its healing power. Soon after I became interested, my youngest daughter, then twenty months old, was pronounced by two doctors to be suffering from tubercular peritonitis. They stated that she would have to lie on her back for three months at least, and if she got better I should have to take special care of her, as she would always be a delicate child. I was convinced by the small understanding I had of Christian Science, that if I could have Science help it would restore my child. Treatment was given by a loving practitioner. At the end of three months the child was allowed to sit up for her food, and in less than a fortnight from that time she was running about perfectly well. She is now strong and healthy. This was over nine years ago. I have twice been healed of influenza; once with the help of a practitioner, and once through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
I am very grateful for the help Christian Science is in my daily life. It has taught me to know and prove God as the unfailing source of supply for these last ten years.—(Mrs.) Alice M. M. Atkinson, Felixstowe, Suffolk, England.
