On page 140 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy, the author of this textbook, has given to the world the absolute truth in this statement: "The Christian Science God is universal, eternal, divine Love, which changeth not and causeth no evil, disease, nor death." When men enlarge their understanding of God as the God of love, then they will live in harmony with each other, and sin, disease, and death will have been proved unreal. In Christian Science we find that in proportion as we love, we gain happiness, and our bodies correspond in health.
