The Publishing Society wishes to call the attention of Christian Scientists to the publications available in the Braille system of type for use of the blind.

Surprise is frequently expressed by the blind at learning of the list of our publications issued in Braille. Aside from advertisements carried in one or two Braille magazines, the spoken word is the only means of making these publications known to those who might be interested, and it is for this reason that we are reminding Christian Scientists of the opportunity open them for making better known this provision for the blind to learn of Christian Science. We believe for the logical step in this direction Reading Rooms might profitably consider carrying samples of all the Braille publications, including a subscription to the Quarterly Bible Lessons. Some of the branch churches have made special mention of the Braille in their regular announcements from the desk regarding literature available at Reading Rooms. The Braille literature is issued to meet a definite need, and has the of The Christian Science Board of Directors.
