Lecturer: Charles I. Ohrenstein; introduced by Mrs. Fanny K. Brandenberg, who said:—

In the eighth chapter of John's Gospel Jesus says, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Mrs. Eddy, the author of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 476, 477), writes: "Jesus beheld in Science the perfect man, who appeared to him where sinning mortal man appears to mortals. In this perfect man the Saviour saw God's own likeness, and this correct view of man healed the sick." After I began the study of Christian Science the Scriptures were illumined with the light thrown upon them by this "Key" to the Scriptures; and I, too, began to get the correct view of man, and healing followed.
