Through the study of Christian Science and the understanding of God's Word gained thereby, I have seen many of the material so-called laws in which I formerly believed with some confidence fall into pieces one by one before the eternal, all-inclusive, divine Principle, as the walls of Jericho once fell before that same Principle. I do not regret the loss of the support I believed I had from these laws, for they never gave me any real satisfaction. At bottom there always seemed to exist a fear I could not master.

The eternal, all-inclusive Principle, God, whom I have learned to know more and more, has healed me of worry and fear. I have had many proofs of His omnipotence and omnipresence, and have come to understand that everything in God's creation is eternally harmonious and indestructible. In proportion as I have utilized this understanding, I have proved that Jesus' promise, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," is now being fulfilled. I had been seeking God, and He was found by me in Christian Science, where I have learned to know His love.
