The Lectures

Joliet, Illinois (First Church).

Lecturer: W. Stuart Booth; introduced by Paul R. Holmstrom, who said:—

We read in the Bible, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." There are many people who are looking for health and happiness from many different sources. When the seeker turns to Christian Science and learns the truth regarding man as the perfect child of God, and learns to trust God to solve all his problems, he will find his health improved, and that he receives the right answers to his problems. Thus it will be many times proved to him that God's power is supreme, and that it is ever operative; that it is "quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword." I can testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. It has healed me of a severe nervous trouble, and it has met every ill which has presented itself to me for over eighteen years.
