I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings that have come to my family through the application of the truth.

Not long ago my husband and I were in an automobile accident; and at first it was thought that it might prove fatal to me. Our car turned over twice, and was thrown about thirty-eight feet from where the accident occurred. My first thought was, "God is ever present," and I repeated this aloud to my husband. Soon we were being picked out of the car and placed in a passing automobile to be rushed to a hospital. I managed to tell my husband to have us taken home instead, and to call a Christian Science practitioner; and this was done. The practitioner arrived shortly after we were taken into the house, and treatment was given immediately. A physician was brought in to determine whether any bones were broken; and after an examination he found that none were broken. He was then dismissed. The error that tried to manifest itself was that life was slipping away, but this was denied, and the truth proved victorious. My husband was not inconvenienced at all, and the next day I was up and around the house, perfectly healed. The wonderful protection that was ours is indeed sufficient to call forth our deep gratitude.

We have experienced many other healings in our family. Our two children have been healed of measles, chicken pox, colds, and sore throat. I am indeed grateful for membership in a branch church, and for the privilege and opportunity that our children have of attending the Christian Science Sunday School; for the loving help of practitioners; and for the literature, the church services, and all our other Christian Science activities. I am grateful to our dear Father-Mother God for His love and protection; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us this blessed truth.
