I wish to tell of a few of the many healings that have come to my family and to me through Christian Science, with the hope that it will be a help to some mothers who may be having the same problems.
With the loving help of two practitioners at different periods, our baby boy, then eight months old, was healed of infantile paralysis. There were many so-called after effects, such as crooked feet, useless right arm, sleeplessness, kidney and bowel trouble, to be healed, and at times the complete healing seemed very slow. But we noticed that as our fears of the disease grew less, there was less to fear. One thing in particular I wish to mention. Our friends and neighbors said he would never walk. The faithful help and patient work of the practitioner in Christian Science have proved that nothing is impossible to God, Truth.
Our boy is three years old now, and walks and runs everywhere. There was a time in the first hours when we were wavering between Christian Science and medical aid, the case being so serious that things seemed very bad indeed. But when the practitioner read Mrs. Eddy's words in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 231), "What God cannot do, man need not attempt," we turned to our Father-Mother God as our only help.
