Among the Churches

Kalispell, Montana (First Church).—Thanksgiving services were the first to be held in the new home of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city. Needless to say, the spirit of thanksgiving was more than commonly felt by the members, who after nearly a score of years had builded this church home. Situated centrally, at Third Avenue East and Second Street, the new church edifice is very distinctive, expressing art, simplicity, and beauty throughout. Its design is Grecian, executed in cream brick and artificial stone trim. Interior details repeat the Greek design interestingly. The auditorium seats two hundred and fifty-two people, and provision has been made for a future balcony to seat fifty. The basement floor provides a charming Reading Room, measuring thirteen feet by sixteen feet, and having a rear entrance leading to Second Street.—Daily Inter Lake.
