I was taken ill in New York, and Christian Science treatment...
I was taken ill in New York, and Christian Science treatment was asked for and lovingly given; but to mortal sense I was suffering greatly, so I was removed to my home here in Philadelphia, where absent treatment was given. After several days an abscess broke; but it continued to discharge for several months, when a so-called growth appeared where the abscess had been. It seemed to be getting larger, and I was fearful and discouraged at the seemingly slow healing. The letters from the practitioner were always full of courage, hope, and love, and these words in one of the letters brought me up again on to the mountain top: "Remember that error appears only to disappear. Be not frightened by it." The error did disappear; and the healing is complete.
I am most grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower and to Mary Baker Eddy, who has given to the world "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures;" and I am deeply grateful for the tireless, patient, loving work of the practitioner.—(Mrs.) Caroline Lee Cathrall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
