My heart is full to overflowing with gratitude for the wonderful healing help I have received through the study, application, and understanding of Christian Science.

I had had rupture since childhood, and never knew freedom from pain up to the age of seventy. During the last attack, when the doctors said they had done all that could be done and that my life was hanging by a thread, my daughter brought a Christian Scientist to the hospital to see me; and he said when I was ready to go home to let him know. It was only a short time afterwards when I asked the practitioner for help, as I was going home. I was instantaneously healed. I got out of bed, dressed, and have eaten anything I wanted ever since. The practitioner had said to me, in the words of the Psalmist, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help." These words stand out like gold letters in my thought. Christian Science surely is the best friend one can have, since it teaches us of God, who is all good.

Since my healing, six years ago, God has blessed me and mine every day, every hour, in supply, protection, and good health; for which no words can express my gratitude. I am grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which has taught me that God is divine Principle. —Alonzo McClure, Columbus, Ohio.
