I first heard of Christian Science through the healing of pneumonia in the case of an uncle. Two years later I was instantly healed of extreme nervousness. Headaches of long standing disappeared, and I have never had one since. This healing came through the help of a loving practitioner. I did not take up the study of Christian Science at that time. After the birth of my first child I had to turn to it for help, and slowly first one, then another, discord was destroyed. My second child was born under Science treatment. Through the help of a dear practitioner there was very little pain, and since then I have been stronger than ever before.

I am more grateful each day that I know of Christian Science; grateful also for the privilege of class instruction and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. The privilege of serving as Second Reader has helped me more in the study of Christian Science than any other experience. For all these blessings I am indeed grateful.
