I am thankful for the opportunity to express my deep gratitude for all the blessings I have received through Christian Science. In 1921 I had a nervous breakdown accompanied by a serious stomach trouble. After medicine and methods of nature healing had failed, I was led to attend a Christian Science Sunday service with a friend. I was very much impressed by the service, and the following day purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I read the book for about two months, but it did not seem to bring me the desired benefit; so I asked for help from a practitioner. This was lovingly given, and I was healed; for which I am most grateful. I also wish to tell of a healing which my mother received two years ago, when she had a paralytic stroke and her speech became affected. She had Christian Science treatment, and was healed in a few weeks. For these healings I am grateful to our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, to Mrs. Eddy, and to the practitioner who has so lovingly helped us.—Fridolf Gustafsson, Nämdö, Sweden.
