With deep gratitude I testify to some of the many blessings which I have received and experienced through the study and application of Christian Science.

I have been healed of rheumatism, lumbago, severe headaches, and many minor ailments. During the past winter I was healed of a severe case of grippe in less than two days through the help of a loving Christian Science practitioner. A portion of the time I was able to perform my daily duties. I have had many instantaneous healings in Christian Science. Some, however, have required considerable time and diligent application of the truth. This I am sure I needed to break up the false beliefs and to unmask error, fear, and wrong thinking, thereby letting into my consciousness the light of spiritual understanding. Through regeneration and the results of these experiences I have been able to emerge into a higher and clearer concept of the Christ, Truth, and the transforming power of Christian Science; and my prayerful desire is that I may in my daily life measure up to the standard of a Christian Scientist.

Some years ago, while I was operating a machine, my forefinger was accidentally caught in it, and crushed from the end to the first joint. Upon releasing my finger from the machine, I immediately declared the truth as taught in Christian Science, and wrapped a handkerchief around it. Some work was done for me by a Christian Science practitioner in addition to what I did myself. The pain ceased after the first afternoon, and I lost no time from my work. In a very short time a new nail grew out, and the finger was as perfect as ever.
