It is with gratitude and a desire to further the preaching of the gospel and the healing of the sick, that I give my testimony.

A little less than two years ago, I passed through diphtheria under Christian Science treatment. Then a great sorrow came, and again Christian Science brought healing and comfort. Two months after this it became apparent that I was losing the use of my hands and feet. After a few days I did not care to rise from my bed. Christian Science treatment had again been taken up. One day a Science friend who was helping in the home came to my bed and asked me what I was trying to do. I told her I did not know. She went away, but returned soon and gave to me the verse from Ezekiel, "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye." From that moment I began to be able to use my understanding of Christian Science, and in less than ten days was absolutely healed, so that I could actually "run, and not be weary; and ... walk, and not faint."

I am grateful for the privilege of knowing the truth as taught in Christian Science.
