For eight years I suffered constantly from many physical ills, heart trouble and indigestion among them. At last I went through an operation for tumors; but in less than a year they seemed to return as bad as ever, and the doctors said I could live only a few months. The minister of the church of which I was a member said I must be resigned to God's will! But this was impossible, as I had three small children and could not believe that it was God's will for me to leave them to strangers. At this time a dear friend asked me if I would try Christian Science, and I replied that I was willing to try anything. She sent a practitioner the next morning, and in four treatments I was well; and I have not had a return of that difficulty since. I can never describe the feeling of joy and gratitude for those wonderful blessings. Old friends whom I met on the street asked me what I had done to make me look so well.

Soon afterwards I laid aside my glasses, which I had worn for fifteen years, and which the oculist had told me I could never do without. Since that time I have never used any material remedies. Many diseases have been overcome in our home by this truth, among them scarlet fever, diphtheria, influenza, sciatica, and a sense of lack. For ten years I worked to support myself and my children, and I was able to prove that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," as Mrs. Eddy writes on page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."

I am most grateful for the privilege of class instruction, as well as for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. My constant prayer is that I may be able to help others to love this wonderful truth.
