When Christian Science was brought into my home, I was in a helpless condition from sciatic rheumatism. I was entirely healed after about one month's study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mary Baker Eddy. This healing was accomplished without any other aid whatsoever, over thirteen years ago; and the conditions have never returned. The glorious truth that God made all that was made and saw that it was good was as a great light shining out to me in the darkness.

A few years ago I went through an experience which left me under a cloud of depression accompanied by numbness. My thought was turned to the light of Truth through the loving help of a practitioner. The idea of perfect God and perfect man (see Science and Health, p. 259) lifted the mist of depression and healed me of the numbness.

A few years ago my son manifested a condition of sores around his mouth. Christian Science aid was given, and the healing was quickly accomplished. The child's disposition was entirely changed. The desire to rule and dominate over his playfellows gave place to a thought of gentleness and love. This healing has been permanent.
