In
his epistle to the Romans, Paul speaks of those things which must needs follow the way of the evildoer, and contrasts them with the sure rewards which come to those who, through "patient continuance in well doing," have earned the right to recognition as followers of the Christ.
The
healing work in Christian Science bears witness to the truth of its teaching; and the prosperity and growth of the Cause of Christian Science are in a great measure based upon this healing work.
What
grandeur and glow there is in the thought of the early morn, when comes the dawn, the awakening to a new day, in which to live and move in accord with all that means light, life, and love! Mankind has associated the morning with luminous skies, singing birds, glistening dewdrops, rose-tinted mountain peaks, and an awakening to new aspirations for more light, for that which is higher, healthier, and holier.
The
Bible tells us in Genesis, in language quite unmistakable, that God created man "in his own image.
Can
one think of any quality more beautiful than the quality of unselfish love, serving and blessing all mankind?
Those who are disposed to withhold credit from Christian Science for reinstating the Christianity which both heals the sick and reforms the sinner, have made many queer statements in this connection, but one of the strangest that I have seen was reported in your recent issue.

The pastor of one of your local churches recently advertised to answer numerous questions, among them the following: "If Christian Scientists believe that evil is an illusion, do they then believe in sanitation?

When Christian Science was brought into my home, I was in a helpless condition from sciatic rheumatism.
It has been my great privilege to have had Christian Science in our home since my early childhood; but not until I had a family of my own did I realize fully the tremendous blessing that Christian Science is to a growing family, not only as a protection against disease, but as a demonstrable truth, which eliminates sickness and discord of every nature.
