About fifteen years ago, after fourteen doctors had given me up, stating that an operation was all they could offer as a relief, but not as a cure, I was healed in one Christian Science treatment, and was able to eat whatever was set before me without ill effect. Before that even the rigid diet prescribed by the doctors gave me untold agony.

After my healing my husband and I became students of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, thereby learning how to apply this truth ourselves. Through our application thereof my husband was healed of lumbago, with which he had been troubled for some time. Many other ailments were also overcome, such as sick headaches, abscess in the ear, and colds. About five years ago, after enjoying good health through the application of Christian Science for some ten years, a difficulty came upon me which I seemed unable to handle myself. Through practitioners' help I was soon able to resume my home duties. Shortly after, an infection broke out all over my face and head. This was speedily healed, and since that time I have been in good health.

I am profoundly grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine.
