"As my stay at the Christian Science sanatorium is drawing to a close, may I take a moment of your time to tell you how deeply I appreciate the privilege of being here and the opportunity to see and share the peace and joy which this wonderful place brings to all who come here.

"I have seen the careworn, the sorrowing, the sick, the unhappy ones come in, and have seen peace and healing come to them, even as it has come to me, so that they left with a song in their hearts.

"The associates have been an inspiration to me; and from their example I have a bigger, better, higher sense of love and service than I ever had before. They truly are letting their light 'shine before men.'
