While agreeing with and appreciating nearly everything said by a certain clergyman as reported in your issue of recent date, I must question the following: "New-thought, psychology, spiritualism, psychoanalysis, all these are Christian Science." There are essential differences between Christian Science and each of the other subjects named in the sentence here quoted. Christian Scientists are not disposed to magnify or even mention differences which are merely doctrinal, formal, or insubstantial, but we feel that Christian fellowship is promoted by the mutual comprehension of distinctions which are substantial.
