Words can never express the deep gratitude I feel for all the joy, peace, and happiness Christian Science has brought into my life. I became interested in March, 1918; but the testing time came when I suffered from a badly infected tooth. My healing was slow, as I continued to visit the dentist. Five teeth were extracted before I turned entirely away from matter to divine Mind. Then the healing came. "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized," as Mrs. Eddy writes on page 167 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Since then we have had many beautiful proofs of God's protecting care. I had help in Christian Science when our baby was born ; and the harmonious conditions at the time of his birth were indeed a revelation to me. Our elder son was healed of measles in twenty-four hours. He has had the wonderful privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School and responds quickly to the truth. My husband was healed of the grippe in three days. Formerly a sickness of this nature would have kept him from business two or three weeks. He has also received much help in other ways.

I am also grateful for our Hymnal. Sometimes just one line from a hymn will unfold to my consciousness the solution of a problem. I am learning to live each day as it comes.
