[Written for the Sentinel]

Victory

But now my footsteps firm and steadfast clingTo Thy dear law of Truth; in joy I singThy praise, as onward pressing in Thy light I walk; And, every foe suppressing, graciously I talkWith Thee, my Comforter, forever near.My hand I place in Thine; I know no fear. The pathway may to sense seem strange and new,But Life divine grows clearer with the broad'ning view.I feel Thy peace that floods my thought with light,As now I reach the dawn that knows no night.Henceforth no darkness and no doubt can e'er betray; For I have found in Thee the Life, the Truth, the Way.
