Since I have been studying Christian Science every phase of my life has been bettered. It has meant so much to me that I would give up everything else rather than part with my knowledge of Truth. By it, discouraging man-made laws have been overcome. A famous specialist told me if I spent a whole summer at the seashore my particular malady would become worse. Then Christian Science came into my life with its message of cheer, telling me God takes care of His children at all times and in all climates; and I went fearlessly to the shore with my family. I have spent four summers there since the doctor's statement; and instead of being harmed by the dampness, I have grown steadily better.

I am very grateful for the speedy recovery I experienced this past winter from two severe colds. I asked for Christian Science treatment, and in a couple of days the cold had vanished. I needed only one treatment for each attack; but I also worked diligently by myself, trying hard to realize "it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing." I am so glad God has revealed His healing truth to this generation through our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and am trying daily to overcome mortal mind with all its fears, and to gain a knowledge of God, good.
