I wish to add my testimony as an expression of gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for the healing of my daughter. Four years ago she was under the doctor's care for heart trouble, and was in bed most of the time. While in this condition, she caught the whooping cough, and also met with an accident which caused concussion of the brain and paralysis of the left side of the body. The doctors were called, and pronounced the case spinal meningitis. At this time she was unconscious and having convulsions. The doctors, who said the condition was due to a fractured skull, insisted on an X-ray examination. My daughter was taken in an invalid's car to the hospital, but the X-ray photograph showed no fracture. She was brought home, and the convulsions continued, the doctors giving her chloroform during each attack.

When the doctors said they had done all they could, we asked for Christian Science help. A practitioner was called, and when she came into the room our daughter was having a convulsion. The truth was declared; and instead of being given chloroform, she fell asleep for several hours and had no more such attacks. From that time she showed steady improvement. On the third day the paralysis was gone, and she was walking about the house. In a week's time she was outdoors free from whooping cough, heart trouble, and the other ailments. She is now in perfect health, having taken part in the relay races at the school field meet.
