I consider it my duty to express my deepest gratitude for the blessings which I have received through Christian Science. For seven years my child and I suffered severely from epilepsy. During that time we were under continuous medical treatment. The doctor did his best to cure us, but his efforts were of no avail. I lived constantly in great fear. For a long time I had to be cared for day and night.

When my husband and I had given up all hope, we became acquainted with a Christian Science practitioner, to whom I related my trouble. She talked loving with me about Christian Science, and gave me a copy of Der Herold der Christian Science. We then asked her for treatment. I felt better from that hour. Neither the child nor I was afflicted further; and the fear of this trouble and all its effects have entirely disappeared. We both are healthy and well, which we had never been before. I can again do all my work with joy; in fact, I can accomplish much more than formerly.

I am indebted to the dear practitioner. For this wonderful healing I praise God; and I am grateful to the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy for this teaching, that enables us to become conscious of the healing power of Truth, and to apply it in daily life.
