Letters from the Field

"I deem it one of my greatest privileges to testify to healings I received while a guest at the sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association. My desire was for peace and quiet; but after the second day I had a return of two old beliefs, which were healed in one treatment by a beloved practitioner who was in the home at the time. Besides these healings, many things necessary to be overcome in my consciousness were uncovered to me; and I am very grateful for the spiritual uplift received from the reflection of love in this wonderful place. I am also very grateful that it has been my privilege to attend the Wednesday evening meetings and hear the testimonials of the beautiful healings that are taking place there each day and hour. The hymns sung by those who are patiently waiting on God for their healing brought to me more than ever before the spiritual uplift of our hymns when sung by those who have deep faith in Christian Science.

"Through my meager understanding I have been able to help others seeking for the truth whom I have met along the way. I am a member of First Church of Detroit and of The Mother Church.

"(Mrs.) Katherine Porter Smith, New York, New York."
