The understanding of God which I have acquired in Christian Science is beyond price to me. As I review my blessings I see that my five years of reliance on Christian Science in sickness bear the result of healing which comes from great confidence in God. I feel that this Science is indeed a leaven that purifies even our innermost thoughts; and though the struggle may seem long to one steeped in falsity, the work is sure and inevitable.

I have had some wonderful proofs of God's power to heal. A number of times, just by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy the greater part of a day or night, my thought has been cleared sufficiently to banish illnesses for both my children and myself. I recall having met thus the symptoms of influenza. I have learned in a great measure the wisdom of the command, "Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him." It is wonderful to feel the blessed authority and confidence Christian Science gives in the time of temptation and disease.

A recent trial has made me more determined than ever to realize the eternality of Life, and to grow closer to God through understanding and demonstration.
