It is my great desire to express gratitude to divine Love by telling of some of the healings that have come to me since my entry into Christian Science. In the early part of 1918 I came to this city to a position which required my entire attention; that is, I had every day to devote many hours to train work. I was also subject to sick headaches. These two conditions could not go together: if I continued to have these spells of sickness, I should have to give up my job. I was advised to go to a doctor, but I had already been to five for this complaint. Every one named a different cause. I had no faith in them, or in any one else, to remove the cause.

One day I met a practitioner of Christian Science; and in telling of my troubles, I was advised to try God's way to remove the cause of the trouble. I was willing, as I felt there could not be any loss, and there might be a gain. The next time I was taken with sick headache I went to a Christian Science practitioner, and within a very few moments I walked out completely healed. Never have they returned; and they never will. The cause of them I had found to be mental,—an erroneous belief. After this, bilious attacks went; and as I began to see the good there was in Christian Science, I could not spend enough time in reading the literature and asking questions.

During the first winter of my study of Christian Science I was hurt one day with a truck at a station, which caused the throwing up of blood, also great pain in the stomach and bowels. I called a practitioner, and inside of two hours was healed. For these demonstrations I cannot express my thanks fully. I know now that there is nothing else in reality but God and His perfect law of harmony.
