Christian Science has done so much for me and my family that I should like to give my testimony, hoping it may help some one else, as I have been helped repeatedly by reading the testimonies that appear in our periodicals. Before hearing about Christian Science, I used to say there was something about the healings of the Bible that we did not understand. If we did, I felt that the understanding could be made practical. I was in the habit of reading a chapter of the Bible daily, although I did not understand it then as I do now; still it helped me.

That was my condition of thought when Christian Science was brought to my notice five and a half years ago. When my husband passed on, the little I understood of the truth was a great help to me. It healed me of the fear of death; also of the sense of separation; and the peaceful feeling of the home was remarkable. Afterward I had a great fear of the same disease he suffered from, but have since risen above that condition, for which I feel deeply grateful.

Coming downstairs on my way to my first lecture on Christian Science, I fell down part of them. My sister was with me at the time. She was not interested in Christian Science, and did not think I would be able to proceed further; but after a few minutes I was able to realize harmony. I have been able to discard bandaging for varicose veins. A discordant condition manifested itself on my son in the form of eruption and swelling of the face and neck. Christian Science help was asked for and lovingly given; and after the second treatment the trouble disappeared. My oldest daughter had a splendid recovery after childbirth; and the baby has been very harmonious. Help in Christian Science was asked for, and very lovingly given. I do feel grateful for the help I have received from loving friends.
