It affords me much pleasure to tell the readers of the Christian Science periodicals of my gratitude to God for giving Christian Science to the world. This was accomplished through His servant, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave her life to the study of the Bible and to righteous living. I am so grateful to her. Through the study of the Bible and her writings I have been healed of many diseases and sins.

In my first visit with a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed of the profane habit and the necessity of wearing glasses. Later on, I was healed of a very serious case of hemorrhoids, which a physician told me would require an operation. In July, 1908, I was healed of a serious case of diabetes. In September, 1920, I was healed of a very acute case of inflammation of the stomach and bowels. This was a fight, but Christian Science won the battle.

Christian Science has solved many business problems for me. I have used it to overcome every kind of discord presenting itself to me, and it has never failed when properly applied. I know Christian Science heals, having proved it many times during the past seventeen years. I am indeed grateful to God, to the dear Master, and to Mrs. Eddy, who rediscovered this healing truth, which was demonstrated by Jesus and is now given to the world in the writings of our dear Leader.
