That Christian Science is Christian in its nature, essence, and practice is proved by its fruits. At the testimony meetings held every Wednesday evening in Christian Science churches throughout the civilized world, grateful acknowledgment is made by citizens of high standing in their communities that through Christian Science they have been freed from sin as well as from sickness, that spiritual desire and quickened spiritual effort have followed the unsealing of the Bible by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Writing on page 342 of this book, Mrs. Eddy says: "If Christianity is not scientific, and Science is not of God, then there is no invariable law, and truth becomes an accident. Shall it be denied that a system which works according to the Scriptures has Scriptural authority?" It will be acknowledged by any professing Christian that Christ Jesus did his work of healing in accordance with and because of God's law of harmony, perfection, and freedom. This law must be invariable and universal as to its availability and applicability, since God is ever the same loving Father and Mother of all, and is "no respecter of persons." Any sincere seeker after Truth who will study Science and Health with a humble desire to learn of God and His Christ, will find that Christian Science is scientific Christianity, in that the exact, divine rules for overcoming sin, sickness, and all evil are made available to every one who will abide by them.
