When I first learned of Christian Science in 1909, I had been ill most of the time for nearly twenty years. I employed many doctors, and was preparing to go to the hospital to be operated on for internal trouble, when a friend suggested Christian Science. I knew nothing about Christian Science, but had great fear of an operation; so I called on a practitioner. In three treatments I was completely healed. I was also healed of a severe throat trouble. A medical specialist had said my throat was covered with tumors.

I thank God that through purity and certainty of foresight Mrs. Eddy was enabled to bring this precious truth to the waiting world, for its ultimate freedom. I am striving each day to come into greater realization of God's kingdom.
