I have been in Christian Science only three or four years, and have found there what all other Protestant denominations have failed to show me,—that a useful and practical religion, when rightly applied, will meet each human need.

I started to read Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" when I was in the service; and I know, though not an advanced student, it carried me through thick and thin "over there," and brought me safely home again. Since my return to the States I have been able to overcome many diseases without the aid of medicine. The most outstanding are: a condition of blood poisoning in which my ankle was as large as my knee (this was healed in twenty-four hours); also an eruption all over my left hand which had lasted six months. These two diseases were wonderfully healed, along with instantaneous healings of cold, fever, and sudden shocks, such as result from the turning of the ankle and severe knocks.

I have been a faithful attendant upon the church services, and am exceedingly grateful to the practitioners, lecturers, and all those in any wise connected with Christian Science. All the literature and authorized books upon Science are greatly appreciated; and last, yet foremost, I am very grateful to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving to us this wonderful and beautiful study, which, when its teachings are lived, will overcome every difficulty.
