I would like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me.
About fourteen years ago I investigated Christian Science for physical help, and was healed of a severe attack of rheumatism after reading for a few hours "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
When Christian Science teaching came to my notice, I was suffering, and had been suffering for several years, with an incurable organic disease, according to the diagnosis of the best physicians obtainable.
I cannot find words adequate to express my gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy for Christian Science.
I have been in Christian Science only three or four years, and have found there what all other Protestant denominations have failed to show me,—that a useful and practical religion, when rightly applied, will meet each human need.
For twelve years I was a semi-invalid, suffering from chronic nephritis.
Because I am grateful for the help received, I would like to tell of a healing which came to me last summer.
When I first learned of Christian Science in 1909, I had been ill most of the time for nearly twenty years.
