In 1907, after several years of suffering from nervous prostration, indigestion, and other ailments, it was suggested that I try Christian Science. I had consulted physicians in Texas and California, and had been given no encouragement. I thought if Christian Science did not heal me it could do me no harm. In this state of mind I went to a practitioner, and became very much interested in reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." In a short time after I began to read I was healed of an internal trouble, and later the other healings came. About a year afterward, I was also healed of typhoid fever.

Christian Science has not only healed me of many ills, but it has helped me in other ways. I am grateful to live in the age of Christian healing; grateful for Mrs. Eddy's life of purity and self-sacrifice that has made this healing possible. I am grateful for all the loving work of practitioners and others who have helped me.
