Annual Meeting of The Mother Church

A Gathering of Christian Scientists filling the edifice of The Mother Church to its capacity heard the addresses and reports of the officers of the church and reports from the field at the Annual Meeting, which convened at two o'clock on Monday, June 5. Never has there been manifested greater joy and deeper gratitude for God's manifold blessings to the children of men than found expression at this meeting. The reports show a prosperous condition in every activity of The Mother Church, and a satisfactory growth in the number of branches and in church membership.

After singing hymn 198, "O'er waiting harpstrings of the mind," by Mary Baker Eddy, selections were read by the retiring President, Irving C. Tomlinson, C.S.B., of Boston, as follows:—

Bible: Psalms 135:1—5, 21; Isaiah 63:7—9, 16; Colossians 3:12—15. Science and Health: Page 3:22—24 and 32—9; 12:31; 275:14; 324:13; 575:22—24; 577:19; 566:1.
