For more than twenty years I have shared the great blessings which Christian Science brings to those who turn to it for help. I was for ten years bound by a so-called incurable disease. Many physicians were called upon for help, and all made the same remark, "Incurable." The next advice would be, "You must go South;" then the next would be, "You must go to California; you may get better for a while." I went to several of the places named. Then Christian Science was brought to me and I accepted it. I knew it was the truth as soon as it was explained to me; and I was healed in one treatment. Many of my friends said, "This is surely a miracle;" but we know that, as our dear Leader says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 591), it "is divinely natural."

I took up the work at once, and have been and earnest student of all our Leader's writings ever since. I have gone through many deep waters; but this same Love, understood and applied, has always been the victor. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude and love for our patient, loving, wise Leader for all she has done for mankind; also for our Manual, which she has left for our guidance.
