Several years ago I was very ill with scarlet fever. Our family physician was called, and for days he and another doctor who was called in council did all that medical power could do for me. At the end of the eighteenth day and after a third council of doctors I was gradually growing worse and all the encouragement doctors gave was that while there was life there was hope. It was at this time I asked my mother, who was caring for me, to get word to a Christian Science practitioner and ask her to take my case. This was on Sunday night, and before half past ten I was sleeping and continued to sleep until the next morning at eight. On the third day from the time of my first treatment I was dressed and walking around the house and eating anything and everything I wanted. This healing took place nearly five years ago and since that time I have been perfectly well.
