It is nearly eleven years since I became interested in Christian Science. Before that time I had been suffering for nearly seven years with nervous prostration. I tried many doctors and specialists. I tried cold and hot baths, Turkish baths, and salt rubs. I tried osteopathy and electric treatments; indeed, I can truthfully say I have tried everything that was recommended to me along material lines. All these things failed to help me or give me any relief. I knew nothing of Christian Science,—I had never heard of it,—until a young person working for me at that time recommended Christian Science to me. I immediately called on a practitioner, took up the study of Christian Science, and was healed in about three months. I have experienced numerous healings since, and have also been able to prove this truth for others.

Since that time I have become a member of the local church and of The Mother Church, and also have had the privilege of class instruction. I am deeply grateful for all these blessings that have come to me through the application and study of Christian Science, as found in the Bible, in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and Mrs. Eddy's other writings. I, too, am most grateful to God for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
