"Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will...

"Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand." Who, knowing this, can withhold his testimony, his thanksgiving, for the ever unfolding protection the knowledge of Principle gives? It is four years since I first came to Christian Science for physical healing, and though wishing to give a testimony before this, I was held back by the argument that I had no instantaneous healing to record, no vivid experience to help others to a more alert grasp of the truth.

In talking this over with a practitioner she pointed out that physical healings were not the only ones, and that every testimony helped some one. Then I sat down to think out just what Christian Science means to me. I compared present conditions with conditions before I heard of the healing truth, and what a difference there was in my outlook on life! How full of blessings the last four years had been,—difficult years from the human standpoint. There had been family problems to solve, sorrow, loneliness, and many conditions of environment to be faced, as well as physical difficulties. How wonderfully I had been helped through it all! Though I had no instantaneous healing to record, how many limiting beliefs had vanished! Chills and throat trouble had been proved powerless and finally conquered. In every direction light was pouring in,—the radiant vision of the perfection of God's creation.

For the literature and for the loving help of a practitioner I can never be grateful enough. Above all, I am grateful to Mary Baker Eddy, who proved the divine rule of healing for herself and gave the world that wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which is a neverfailing source of help and inspiration.
