To express my deep gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, I wish to add my testimony to the many that I have read.

About fourteen months ago I was pronounced a consumptive by two of the best doctors in Seattle and by a specialist in Denver, and was told after an examination by X ray and other means, that I was in a bad condition. The discouragement was so great that I knew there was no help for me from material means, and as I had been in the employ of a Christian Scientist a year before this and had heard him mention it several times, I immediately turned to Christian Science for help. After what I thought was a long time I was healed instantly one day, and for the past seven months I have been doing the hardest kind of work and getting better in every way. I am learning more every day that God is the only power.

No one can realize the wonderful difference in my life since my healing. Where everything was despondency, now it is joy. One thing that I see now was a blessing, though I did not know it at the time, was the action of the Christian Scientist in whose employ I was. Noticing my physical condition he sometimes would suggest Christian Science to me. At that time it seemingly had no effect on me, but I see now that it surely was a blessing to me that I was employed by him. I send this testimony, hoping it will be the means of helping some one who seems to be struggling to find the truth. To say that I am grateful for this truth is putting it mildly indeed.
