This testimony is given with a desire to express my gratitude for the healing of a long-standing bowel disorder. I had help when I first came to Christian Science, but the fear was so great I could not give up the use of material means for over three years. I knew I should make a stand for the truth, so asked advice of a friend who is a practitioner and he gave me courage to make the effort. With his help and by trusting in divine Love, I was healed of this trouble. The fear was so great that the bowels did not act for thirteen days, but the truth at last made me free. I was so happy to think I trusted in God and had Mrs. Eddy's teachings in Science and Health for my guide.

I came into Christian Science four years ago when all material means had failed to help me. I am very thankful for the great truth Mrs. Eddy brought to us, also for the help that has been given by friends to lead me in the right way. I am truly thankful to God and grateful to our Leader for showing us the way to peace and happiness.
