Christ Jesus, our Savior, said on a certain occasion, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." The truth of these words has been proved to me, as it has to many others, inasmuch as I have received so much good through Christian Science. For six years I suffered from back and kidney trouble and bore a great deal of pain. I could not be on my feet any length of time, was at the same time unable to sit, and often had to kneel while eating at the table. For many months I could not lift even a light chair, and although my appetite was always good, I was forbidden to eat nearly everything, with the exception of light foods. I searched for help in matter all those years without finding it, and my condition became constantly worse, until I was a physical wreck. I am perfectly healthy now, owing to the fact that I became acquinted with Christian Science and came to know that health and all good things come from God alone. I am striving to be grateful to God for showing me the right way, and my only wish is that all the weary and heavy laden may search for it and cling to it, once they have found it.
